You can't borrow your way out of debt!

Can you believe what they are doing in Washington D.C.? You would think they are drunken sailors with a year's pay to spend!

We are up to over 2 trillion dollars so far and now they are talking about another 50 to 100 billion to bail our homeowners. Where do you suppose the money is coming from? Do they have a money tree growing behind the White House? No, they have to do one of two things; print it or borrow it! Either way we get the shaft.

If they print it the value of the dollars you and I have goes down! If they borrow it we become further beholden to countries that do not have our best interest at heart. You can't borrow your way out of debt and sooner or later those who hold the purse strings will call in those loans and we will become an un-sovereign state and be taken over by those we now consider "friends" who are really enemies waiting to cause our demise. Whoops, we are causing our own demise, they are just taking advantage of our foolishness!

There was a time in our history when those who saw what was happening decided that enough was enough and that drastic action had to be taken. They risked their lives and their fortunes in order to establish a more perfect union and guarantee the citizens the "Right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness"

Once again we face those times. Just as the Forefathers predicted, our government has grown to become the oppressor and controller of our freedom. Just as they told us that government was not the end of all means and that if we were not ever vigilant it would swallow us up and take our freedoms away this is coming to pass.

It is now time for us to realize what is happening and take the action our Forefathers told us we must take. We must rise up and institute a new government based on the principles of our Constitution. We must return the power to the people and take it from the hands of the politicians.

We can do this without violence or revolution as it has traditionally been described. We can do it by asserting our will upon those we have foolishly elected as our representatives. Constitutional amendments can be initiated at the state as well as at the federal level.

The very first thing we must do is establish term limits for all federal offices. No longer should we allow the politician to make a career out of his or her office! The Founding Fathers intended for service to be service for a short period of time and then the server was to return to private life and let some one else serve.

Term limits should also be applied to state office holders as they too have become entrenched and no longer truly serve their masters (you and I). No one should be allowed to hold and office for more that 12 years and then should be restricted from holding a different office for 12 years after leaving the first office. This way no one can build a dynasty and live like a tick off the blood of the citizenry!

By the way, that is how I define a politician. Poli (meaning many) and we all know what a tick is! It is time to get off your butts and start raising a stink about how things are being done on your behalf and in your name. If you don't like being bent over a table and having you know what rammed up your behind you have to take action now.

You must begin calling, faxing and e-mailing all those who purport to represent you and tell them you will no longer allow them to sell you out to the highest bidder or those who tell the best woeful story. It is not their place to bail out bad decision makers. It is not their place to put your children and grandchildren into servitude for all their lives just so the fat cats can have big bonuses and maintain a lifestyle you and I can't even imagine.

If you and I don't begin to raise a stink we will not be free and our children will not be free. If you don't care about being free then please move to South America, Africa, China, North Korea or Russia because they have servitude down pat and you won't have to suffer through the pangs of losing your freedom a little at at time.

Get of your duff America and save yourself from those who would control you. Bad things truly do happen to good men and women who say nothing. Speak! Speak! Speak!

I recently found this movie and if you truly wish to understand what is happening and what must be done to preserve our freedoms it is important that you take the time to watch it.

America: Freedom to Fascism explains in simple language what we are up against. It is up to us as FREE Americans to act and put a stop to this march to slavery.

Please watch it and then act. Your life and your freedom depends on it. What more can I say?
